auf dem Campus Claudiana
Liebe Benutzenden,
die Bibliothek der Claudiana freut sich, Sie zum Elsevier Day einzuladen, einem Informationstag rund um die digitalen Elsevier-Ressourcen, die unserer Hochschule zur Verfügung stehen, und deren Potenzial zur Unterstützung von Lehre, Studium und beruflicher Weiterbildung.
Die Veranstaltung findet am Donnerstag, den 15. Oktober 2026, statt. Vertreterinnen und Vertreter von Elsevier werden persönlich an der Claudiana anwesend sein, um die verschiedenen Plattformen vorzustellen und sich direkt mit Studierenden, Lehrenden und Koordinatorinnen bzw. Koordinatoren auszutauschen.
Während des gesamten Tages wird im Innenhof der Claudiana (Bereich zwischen Gebäude 1 und Gebäude 2) ein Elsevier-Stand eingerichtet sein. Dort können Studierende und Interessierte die verfügbaren Ressourcen in interaktiver und ungezwungener Atmosphäre kennenlernen, Informationsmaterial erhalten, an praktischen Demonstrationen teilnehmen und kleine Werbegeschenke mitnehmen.
Um 15:00 Uhr findet anschließend in der Bibliothek Claudiana eine Präsentation ausschließlich
für Dozierende, Tutor:innen, sowie Studiengangskoordinator:innen statt. Dabei werden die Möglichkeiten vorgestellt, die Elseviers digitale Werkzeuge für Lehre und Lernen bieten.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen insbesondere die von der Bibliothek bereitgestellten Ressourcen:
- ClinicalKey Student, eine führende Plattform mit Fachbüchern, Bildern und didaktischen Inhalten für die Gesundheitsberufe;
- Complete Anatomy, eine innovative Anwendung für das Anatomiestudium mit interaktiven 3D-Modellen;
- Osmosis, eine kürzlich aktivierte Ressource mit Lehrvideos, Quizzen, Flashcards und strukturierten Lernpfaden zur Unterstützung eines nachhaltigen Lernerfolgs.

The Claudiana Library is pleased to invite you to Elsevier Day, a day dedicated to discovering the digital Elsevier resources available at our institution and exploring their potential to support teaching, learning, and professional development.
The event will take place on Thursday, 15 October 2026. Representatives from Elsevier will be present at Claudiana to introduce the various platforms and engage directly with students, lecturers, and programme coordinators.
Throughout the day, an Elsevier stand will be set up in the Claudiana courtyard, in the area between Building 1 and Building 2. Students and anyone interested will have the opportunity to explore the available resources in an interactive and informal setting, receive information materials, take part in practical demonstrations, and pick up promotional giveaways.
At 3:00 p.m., a presentation specifically for lecturers, tutors, and programme coordinators will take place in the Claudiana Library. The session will focus on the opportunities offered by Elsevier’s digital tools to support teaching and learning.
The presentation will focus in particular on the resources already provided by the Library:
- ClinicalKey Student, a comprehensive platform providing textbooks, images, and educational content for the health professions;
- Complete Anatomy, an advanced application for the study of anatomy using interactive 3D models;
- Osmosis, a recently introduced resource combining educational videos, quizzes, flashcards, and structured learning pathways designed to support effective learning and knowledge retention.
